Give him an ongoing, or at least a supporting role in the current Scott Lang book.
There's nothing wrong with him outside of people who can't let go of an out of context panel that's been thrown around for years among people that don't read comics. If anything, that panel has only made him a better character in terms of how he's reacted to it.

Keep him away from Lang's ongoing, Lang took too much spotlight as is from the rest of the Ant-Man family. Give him his own one though because it's bullshit all his legacies had one and yet Pym only had Tales to astonish

It's not that it's hard to do good stuff with Pym, it's more that writers are afraid of it. Both latest ideas, Wasp!Pym and Pymtron, were pretty amazing.
And I politely disagree, but then I don't like Spencer's style much overall. I did enjoy his FalCap to some degree but his Lang doesn't do the trick for me.

I didn't like Rage of Ultron much since it more or less felt like an easy way to write him off and his monologue in the beginning felt like too much like a stereotypical euphoric redditor, but I'll give it one thing: Janet's speech was among the most realistic descruptions of depressive phases of bipolar in capeshit I've ever seen. I have the same problem so reading it, especially the "sometimes he just wanted to stop feeling part", kinda helped me to carry though a difficult time.
