What were /co/'s thoughts on Fanboys?
Died a death over the last couple of years with like 4 updates every 9 months, but lasted quite a while from the looks of it, about 7ish years.

The comic ending with Scott becoming a SJW, after his brother died, i really liked it but its obvious now that scott couldnt deal with his brother's death, turning himself to the Hugbox know as tumblr.
Thats what killed the comic, and frankly for good, because scott trying to be progressive and all that it just doesnt work.

I personally owe a lot to it, and a lot to Scott. I spent a lot of time dicking around and posting art on the forums back when they were still active and without the encouragement of the folks I met there, I probably wouldn't have pursued my artwork and comic as a career path.
DeWitt can be a bit of a weenie at times, sure, but he's honestly the most harmless kind of weenie that you might occasionally butt heads with, at worst. I hope he can someday get his comic-making groove back, even if he doesn't continue with Fanboys.

I like his sense of humor.
Scott is one of the people I looked up to for his ability to understand criticism and actively improve on them. He can do really good work as long as he puts his heart into it. The heart of Fanboys just kind of limped downslope after a while. Various attempts to reignite it failed.
I really hope he comes to terms with what he really wants to do and can keep that drive going. When he puts his heart into something, it comes out great.

This is par for the course with Diaz. Once he made a Tumblr post saying he wished his fans would buy him an expensive videogame. I messaged him saying that the game was only a couple hundred bucks on eBay and there's no reason he couldn't buy it himself. He then made a reply tearing into me and saying "GOD I WAS JUST JOKING" before completely deleting the original post and the reply to me.
tl;dr, Aaron's method of handling criticism is to lash out like a baby and then go back and delete the original thing he got criticized for.

Zelda fan-work are littered with Role-Reversal fan-fiction of all sort and no one bat an eyelashes about that, but when diaz did it, it was taken as some sort of abomination when his art at least look good compared to what you usually find in this kind of experiments.
The most baffling part is that some seemed to react as if they were afraid Nintendo would actually pick his idea and do it and they tried to bitch as much as possible about it as some sort of way to prevent from it happening.
