Batman's animated series beat out Superman's by a wide margin in terms of popularity. Which is a shame, since Livewire was a pretty solid villain OC, especially as far as they come by in comic book adaptations.
Although, if it were up to me, her power set would've been utilized a LOT more than 'piss lightning at Superman during fight scenes'. I never really felt like her electrical shit was being utilized to it's full potential, nor did she ever really feel like a mortal threat to the Man of Steel (even when he was getting pelted by shit tons of wattage).
Oh, and that's not to mention... She looks pretty fucking weird when the wrong artist is drawing her. Bruce Timm's minimalist designed really worked to her advantage, but not many comic book artists have been up for the task of transitioning her appearance to a more detailed medium.
