Pasqualo getting his foot in his mouth and saying unintentionally super rude shit he feels bad about later is pretty understandable when his best bud is totally cool with such bluntness unless you're hitting on her.
I used to ship them, but now I super enjoy them as pals.
Pasqualo resolved his feelings about all this a lot sooner than I would have expected, I figured he'd use this to tie in to the next arc and give Pasqualo some internal conflict.
But hey, that happens. Something extraordinarily shitty happens and someone shows up and sets you straight about it and you stop making excuses for other people to be shitty to you. It's easier said than done, but it's absolutely liberating to just look at someone you've been unable to please and just say "fuck 'em, they're worthless."
