I used to hate him before Re:connect, and before learning that the translators had deliberately made some parts of his route sound way worse than they're supposed to.

How bad is the anime? I'm starved for homo animes, at this point I'll take almost anything.

Don't go in expecting anything too saucy.
If I remember correctly, all action is reserved to a separate OVA dedicated to "Bad Ends" A lot of implied fucking followed by blood in a lot of them.
The anime is a mediocre sci-fi work with some interesting ideas and characters. A fairly good soundtrack too. But there's nothing groundbreaking.

The only thing that remained is a kiss in the common route that surprisingly is still in the anime. The rest of the anime is a mix of all the routes very badly drawn and adapted in a no homo way.
And I say it again, very very badly drawn. Never forget when ep 3 was first aired.
