I'm having trouble finding a place for these "healthy" things in my traditional diet of bread and meat. Frying just wilts them, steaming is abhorent, kale smoothies are a meme--are boring salads my only option?

>boring salads
They're only boring if you make them boring. Also kale chips are easy and good.

Shabu shabu.

braise and cream theme?

Tasty soups

feta cheese

you don't need much 30g at most
>>
throw some ham or chicken and some shredded cheese on your salad. I like to use sunflower seeds as croutons.

Salads are only boring if you make them boring.

The kale chips at my local Indian cafe were so good I had to stop going there because I began to get fat from eating there every day for lunch

I like to make sort of mashed together dolmades. You just make the filling as usual (rice, onion, garlic, fat, dill, seasoning, bit of lemon juice) but skip the wrapping grape leaves.

Then when the rice is cooked, throw in a ton of frozen spinach and kale (the only real greens you need) and let them shrivel up a little further and blend with everything.

It's a pretty great little side dish for whatever.

Creamed spinach, asian lettuce wraps, "wilted" lettuce salads, made with hot bacon grease dressings. Wrap your burgers and sandwiches in lettuce. There's tons of things to do with greens, just gotta be creative and not so "healthy ingredients must be served healthy" about it. Once you get into the routine of using greens in not-so healthy, healthy dishes, you'll develop a taste for them outside of your childish palate.

baby spiniach, sprinkle on just a little olive oil, garlic salt, and shredded cheese. boringly delicious

I find the majority of salads are vastly improved by the addition of a few straps of chicken or other lean meat. Or beans or tofu. Texture up in that bitch
