There was a "crash" back in 2000, but the market doesn't seem to be reaching saturation. At this point there's a large enough proportion of the consumer base who just don't care about cheap light beer anymore.

Its here to stay for sure.

This is the first time I've truly seen the craft beer label used as a meme. All craft beer means is the brewery brews under a certain volume of beer. I could set up a for profit brewery that makes Budweiser tier beer and call it craft because I don't brew enough.

Craft breweries already do this, they call them "session beers". Thin, tasteless, 4% alcohol beers, but since it's "craft" you still get to pay $11 for a 4-pack

Any kind of beer tasting snack food ends up losing any kind of flavor profile quickly.

The craft beer craze can and will die down, but it's gone too far to disappear completely.

Wut m8? Sessions are usually just lower alcohol percentage ipas that are easier drinking. There are plenty of good ones. Founders All Day IPA for example.
