Living alone I can rarely finish a bottle of wine in one sitting. What wine stoppers does /ck/ use? Are metal or plastic ones superior to simple cork ones?
>inb4 "funny"-shaped wine stoppers
>inb4 the ultimate "i'm a 30 yo upper-middle class white male"-sign aka all gadget like solutions like vacuum pumps and shit
Do these actually work?

Yes, cheap wine stoppers work great and can keep wine tasting good for a week or so.

you should try buying some of those argon canisters and using them before you stop up the wine also. i do this and it actually has an effect and argon is fucking cheap as hell
The cork works fine.
Just cork it, and stick it in the fridge.

I have a shit brand plastic thingy my dad gave me because he has like 5 and uses them since forever(+10 years).
It works fine.
The box of wine should already come with a valve for pouring. You don't need a stopper.

I just jam the cork back in with my palm and set it sideways on a shelf

I just jam the cork back in with the corkscrew still in it.

I'm one of the previous poster.
Sometimes the cork is shit, or turns bad.
It's good to have a plan B. I still recommend a shit plastic thing tho.
