OP here I forgot to add I have to go with smooth becauase with crunchy, when you spread it all the crunchy bits just bunch up to one side of the bread and get stuck together, so half is smooth and half is pure peanut. But thats just my experience

Smooth. Crunchy is too chunky for my taste. I'd much prefer some kind of texture that's between the two though.

I really like crunchy, and lately I've been thinking of trying to make my own peanut butter to see how it tastes. I've heard it's worth it.

crunchy but smooth is ok too. I just like crunchy things in general.
