So, I bought these stokkies about 3 months ago or so, they've been sitting in this pack in the back of my fridge after I forgot about them. Will they be okay considering it's raw dried meat? How can I tell if they are bad? Inb4 smell test these are coated in coriander and crap and heavily scented so that might throw me off..
2nd pic
stokkies are thin strips of beef that are salted and crap so all the moisture is drained then dried its like beef jerky but no preservatives i guess
im inclined to think theyll be fine but just want 2nd opinion before i eat 3 month old meat from the back of the fridge

Take a small bite and chew? taste good? then keep chewing. Taste like boiled asshole? then spit it out and give the leftovers to a friend.

That looks like biltong.

biltong is the larger slab that u cut
stokkies are smaller strips that u can snap
hmmm they do smell pretty nice... does beef age like wine? get better the older it gets? cos dis some real primo aged dry shit then id guess
>tfw you remember why you put something at the back of the fridge
nice trying you, maybe in another 3 months
What a stupid question
