You do

>>
>>7784302
>Why do people think eggs are good on burgers, they aren't.
Same eggy rich yolks that make mayo good on burgers, kind of a gilding the lily thing. Butter fried or olive oil fried adds that flavor too. It might also marriage with the other topping in a pairing kind of way like eggs n bacon or eggs and avocado or eggs and cheddar. It's not any weirder than a poached egg on a salad, where it subs again to supplement the dressing.

trying to slice this jalapeno as thin as possible its a pretty hot one
>>
>>7786282
if you want crispy diner fries, here's a good method

first blanch on a lower heat (275-300f). then put em on paper towelled baking sheets, and refrigerate until cool. then you fry them a 2nd time on 350-375f and immediately toss in a bowl with salt and/or seasonings.

keep up the good work OP
>>
>>7786322
thx yeah i do that pretty much, sometimes i just leave them out while i do shit like tonight cuz im lazy, i always fry them 2 or even 3 times cuz im a madman

It's actually got cream in it, so no worries. It's just something I like to make because chickpeas are dirt cheap.

Okay anons, I've made this cobbler before and it's decent but how can I kick it up a notch? I already used butter instead of margarine. maybe a liqueur in the water that goes on top?

Ingredients

1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons
baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted
margarine
2 cups fresh blackberries
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup water

Directions

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.Whisk 1/2 cup sugar together with the flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Stir in the milk and margarine until a batter forms. Scrape into the prepared baking dish. Add the blackberries, and sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar. Pour in the water.Bake in the preheated oven until the batter has risen and the top is brown, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Cool before serving.

Whaddup OP. I went to the casino this week (Coushatta) and thought I'd share a few food related pics here.

We opted to stay in a chalet instead of the casino hotel. A chalet is basically a single wide trailer you can stay in and one of the main benefits is that it has a kitchen, cookware and a grill so you can cook your own food. We had 3 free nights so we stocked up on groceries.

Here's a view the grounds, chalets on the right

You ever go to the casino, OP. You're like 3 hours from Lake Charles. We drove from Austin, about 6 hours

Marinated some ribeyes and went ahead and salted and peppered them as well
>>
>>7842220
when did chalet's meaning turn into trailer park?
>>
>>7842228

>touch your pepper grinder on raw meat

Anon I'm worried for you...
>>
>>7842232
It's just what they call it so they don't have to use the word trailer, which is not appealing. They're actually nice trailers and the grounds are very well maintained. And it's not not like I live in the trailer park. We just rent it for a few nights.
>>
>>7842264
I appreciate your concern but the file name of that picture indicates that i cooked them on the expiration date. They were fine

typewritters, the "restaurant" is filled with old vintage shit on the walls to represent how "traditional" and "typical" is.

Overpriced sandwiches and stuff, but confort as it looks
