What ingredients do you like to add to bolognese sauce?
Personally I like to add chilis.
Canned olives, roughly chopped, right at the end.
Mushrooms, salt pork & an ungodly amount of garlic. Also lots fresh cilantro when plating.
bolognese has enough liquid that you can just stick it in the blender by itself

Red wine to deglaze the meat.
Garlic sometimes.
Mushroom when i have some.
Onions, fresh basilic and lean pork every time.
Haven't tried veal (or veal/pork mix), parsley or bacon. Some anon said something about olives and i will definitely try that.
Tomato sauce is canned or jarred, rarely homemade (i rarely cook for more than just me and the gf)
