Alright coo/ck/s, I'm buying a knife set for my brother and his wife for their wedding. What's your guys' recommendation for a medium-duty set for everyday use?

Any set beyond three pieces is not worth it.

My recommendation is that you don't buy a knife set, as they are all overpriced garbage.
Instead, get a Tojiro DP chef's knife and paring knife. Much better value.

Depends. I got a Henckels set very similar to OP's pic. It was the last one they had and the particular set I got was a discontinued item, so I got the full set for like 40.00.
I would say that was worth it.
