Can someone tell me how the coffee that comes out of the high end ~$1000 Krups, is different than a $50 drip machine?

I'm talking about just black coffee, as I don't put any sugar or milk in mine.

Pour-over or drip machines make ordinary coffee.

The machine you are asking about makes espresso. Totally different.

The more expensive you get with espresso machines usually tends to have much better temperature control and consistency which leads to a much better shot of coffee

If you want just plain black coffee, an espresso machine won't do much for you, you'll want to just get a drip machine and more importantly, good beans.
Beans will make 90% of how good your coffee is.
Pair that with a good machine like a Bonavita and you'll have as good coffee at home as you will any coffee shop

All I can say is the coffee from my drip machine comes out burnt to shit

indeed, I already get good beans, thanks for the post.

get a better drop machine

Well yeah, I suppose that's what OP was going for
>>
>>7653970
Try using a more coarse grind
If it's still bitter and burnt, then get a new machine

I'm pretty sure the problem is my machine heats the water too much, the piece of shit
