BK nuggets have a similar flavor in the breading to their old chicken fingers (which I like), but, the chicken itself isn't that great. Especially old or reheated. McDonald's is better, if I grab a ton of nuggets with the intent of putting some in the toaster oven.
Hardee's chicken tenders are the best, if fresh. They taste stringy and weird if you reheat them. Baked or microwaved.

Though, with that said: I rank Mcdonalds maybe 2 or 3rd with A&W at the top and Dairy Queen at 2nd or 3rd depending on if it's a "bad" or good one.
I just think A&W has better and consistent food quality overall as well as a better menu: I LOVE their baby burgers as little sliders, they have those great thick-cut fries with the skins on them and they even have sweet potato fries (which born an islander; is the only fucking childhood island food you savages actually touch), but their onion rings are AWFUL.
If you have the money though I think it's best that you put the effort into finding a local signature place you can take pride in and appreciate.
Fast food can be amazing and convenient, but nothing beats those well-kept secret small burger businesses.

I was pleasantly surprised by BK's nuggets. I only got them because it was 10 for 1.49 and I expected the taste to reflect the price. They had a nice seasoned peppery taste and were crisp and fresh. I couldn't comment on the quality of the actual chicken in them, maybe it was worse than McDonalds but nobody really has quality nuggets.
I stop by maybe once every 2 months, and only on Fridays after work. I'll usually grab a couple Mighty Angus burgers, two orders of fries, and 20 nuggets.

the same thing happened to me twice. the first bite or two was okay but then there's just a huge mass of something crunchy that isn't meat.
it makes me think they purposely used pieces that were trimmed from between the breast and bone, that has more connective tissue and fat.
it was so nasty.
