I'm English so ive grown up on tea and on top of that im a huge pleb so i drown it in sugar too.
But i want to move into coffee instead, but all ive ever had is the instant stuff which is terribad. How does one start drinking GOOD coffee? What brands? Do i need to get a coffee press or a grinder?
What about the types? Cappuccino, latte, mocha?
Can you boil water?
Get a fench press. I switched from espressos recently and its the best coffee by far.

Get Starbucks brand dark coffee beans. "Good" coffee is relative, and it can all boil down to how you fix it. Don't waste your money on espresso machines and all that other shit until you know for sure that you want to into coffee.
If you can't enjoy a properly prepared gas station coffee, you should find another drink.

Then you don't like coffee. Iced coffee and hot coffee are two completely different things. Like tomatoes and ketchup.
Here's a quick tip, if you're just going for a quick cup in the morning with nothing fancy, pour your creamer in BEFORE you poor you coffee. Saves ya having to use a spoon.

For instant coffee this one is really nice, very strong flavour.
i usually use that azera stuff when i do instant.
you just have to find a good café anon, to see if you actually like the stuff. i personally like coffee even if it's shit, i appreciate the difference but i still drink it quite happily, same with beer.
i would get a coffee press and a grinder though. just good things to have in the house and you can use a grinder for more than just coffee.
also the press can actually be used quite well as a milk frother. i'd get a good insulating metal one rather than glass.

Start with latte's, get used to he taste, switch to cappuccino, get used to the taste. If preferd, you can switch to black after that.
Don't use any sugar, just milk. Sugar and coffee is a cancerous mix
