chocolate chip cookies dilemma

So I decided to make a double batch of chocolate chips cookies, but I forgot to double the butter/shortening. So there are only two sticks of butter rather than a cup of butter and a cup of margarine. How fucked am I?

Well.. if you haven't put it in the oven yet, you can add some oil of some sort..

but either way you're probably fine.

bonus points to you if you brush butter all over them when they come out.

Actually for one batch my recipe calls for 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter. So normally I would use only one stick and then 1/2 cup of Crisco to make the cookies hold their shape but taste good. I had forgotten to put in the 1 cup of Crisco I would need in a double batch, so I had half the cups of butter/Crisco needed. It worked out the, so its whatever

3/4 cup white
3/4 cup brown
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 cup flour
some vanilla i just pour whatever i have leftover usually fuck it
light on the chips maybe like a cup

leave the dough in the fridge overnight

375 ~9 mins

best cookie. 2 stick butter is garbage
