they said it would take 45 minutes to get a table we decided to head somewhere else
We went to Pearl's, a highly regarded local seafood and creole institution
Over 25 years of local best-of award
It's one of my favorite places in town but they also had about a 40 minute wait for a table :(
My buddy and I were both extremely hungry so we headed up the road to Hideaway Pizza on the Restaurant Row section of Western Ave
fortunately they were able to seat us immediately

the fried mushrooms here are the absolute best i've ever had, the mozz sticks are superb as well
i have a profound dislike for bottled ranch dressing but I enjoy the fresh made stuff. theirs is fresh and pretty awesome.
