I prefer root beer. Maybe I'm in the minority, but Pepsi and Coke have never quite sat right with me because they don't taste like real things. It's hard to explain, but with something like root beer or birch beer, there's a familiar sweetness to it. It tastes like it might have once been made with real sugar or vanilla or something. After a year or two of trying to eat healthier and coming back, Coke and Pepsi just taste weird and unnatural to me.
