I get black beans at a cuban restaurant, and pinto at chipotle. I cook black beans at home quite often, whether for soup or moros, but never pinto beans at home. I think pintos are creamier, less sweet, and less peppery, slightly mealy like potatoes when made from dried beans and canned both. Black beans stay more whole, and the peels seem not break down as much, which you may or may not prefer. Pintos also have more protein and more fiber, but it's a minor amount more.

Tried chipotle today on a whim because I had a coupon for it. It was just as disappointing and mediocre as I expected. It's like when I make a burrito at home, but with no seasoning at all.
I'll likely never be back, my area is full of illegals who run delicious taquerias that cost half as much as Shitpotle.
