It's barely different from kielbasa, honestly. Check your Johnsonville and Aidells area of the store, though, they are both national brands with one. If you can't get either, then the consistency of any homemade local smoked pork sausage near the hot dogs will be even better. Just hit your recipe with cajun seasoning instead.
