Boiled cauliflower as a side dish for meat. Yes or no?
why not
you could roast it/make cauliflower cheese/mash it/puree it/pickle it/saute it or do a fuckton of other things with it though
The great thing about meat is that you can pretty much have any side dish imaginable with it.
You also didn't specify which meat or which preparation thereof. This thread is a steaming pile of fuck off and die.

meld some cheese over it with some chopped parsley and it will be glorious!
In Germany you often eat it as side for Bratwurst or Schnitzel or Fish Sticks. You serve it cooked in a white flour sauce and mashed potatoes.

I don't understand how people don't like cauliflower. It's delicious raw and or steamed on its own ?
Serve with either spaghetti with meat sauce and a salad on the side or serve with a nice juicy steak. I feel that it pairs well with beef dishes

Also delicious with weisswurst and paired with weissbier

roast it. look at it, it's fucking glorious.
>mfw i found out just now curried cauliflower is a thing
>mfw i have no image to represent my face
>mfw i actually do but i dont feel like searching for a reaction image because i have more porn readily available.
I have never had a preparation of cauliflower that I liked. It's the shittiest vegetable and whoever grows it should be crucified.

i'm not sure, i used to think that boiled cauliflower sucks but recently i've been thinking it might actually be ok and that i've only received overcooked cauliflower in the past.
cauliflower gratin(?) is amazing and so is puré.
no way I'll ever steam or boil it.

Yeah...very tasty. And we Germans may be the inventors of nationalsocialism....but we don't have that "white power" shit here.

Usually just cut it into florets, toss it in olive oil and flavorings, and roast at 425 until it looks perfectly golden brown.
Going to actually try some tossed in buffalo sauce once my oven preheats.

I've eaten some in the past that were breaded, deep fried and then tossed in buffalo sauce
were bretty gud
>>7417423
food prn.
>>7417441
Trying the roasting method, which of course isn't as good as a deep fry, but 20 more minutes 'til it's done.

Back, the recipe was shit. Should've known better. It called for dipping them in batter, roasting, tossing in buffalo sauce, then roasting again.
Fuck that, just roast them as you would normally (toss in a little oil, salt, pepper, little onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika), then toss it in buffalo sauce.
This is why I hate 90% of online recipes, I think I'm learning a different way of doing things, then realize I should've just went on intuition because most people can't cook for shit.

You should try it with stirred egg and a breadcrumb panade for the big slices. The small parts mix it with the rest egg and breadcrumbs.
How to roast it? It looks amazing but I can't roast for shit.
