Why isn't store bought chocolate mouse a thing? I've went to all 3 of the big super market chains around me and all I see is Jello chocolate mousse mix which is unsatisfying. Why doesn't anyone sell it?

Most companies are afraid of lawsuits these days and have better quality control.
because it's not shelf-stable enough.
just make your own, it's not very difficult.
What countries are you guys from? Because there's a huge variety of store-bought mousse to choose from over here. It's generally of the whipped cream variety, though, for obvious reasons.
