I tasted some and they taste okay, nothing terribly bad, just like seeds. I kept them refrigerated the whole time, if that changes anything.

That's a long time, but they should still be fine considering taste and refrigeration. The tahini probably won't taste of much though.

It's more worrying that you have had something sitting the the fridge for 30+ months without using or discarding it. Or was it in a secondary fridge?

I bought it a relatively big bottle of it a few years back as garnish, but then forget to use it most of the time. Got the idea of making hummus recently, balked at tahini prices, and figured I could just make it myself, making me remember I have sesame seeds at home. They don't taste/smell rancid, so I don't think they are bad yet, so wish me luck.
