Thanks! I got some from Costco and they're the darker green olives that don't feel like you're eating pieces of pure salt

I think sliced black olives go really well with melted cheese (eg. on pizza), most sandwiches (especially red meat or poultry). I even put whole ones in stews, chilis and soups.
I love a whole pitted olive coming out of a stew or chili, the sauce having filled the pit so it's like a hot, sauce-stuffed olive.
