Wash hair off using water.
Meat is wet now.
Will wrapping then freezing wet meat be a problem?
Should I dry it off before freezing with a paper towel?
Should I add some salt to make the water more saline?

A common misconception is to never wash the meat.
Hose it down, then let it hang for a day or three. Remember only to wash it as soon as you get it home.
