Not supposed to. Normally these are shelled before eating. It can be shelled with the teeth too. It is great because it prevents from eating too quickly, and the process is strangely enjoyable

no i used too when I was younger but I stopped because I heard they can mess with your digestive track. as other anon said the process becomes kind of addicting like I can spend an hour watching shit and just cracking away while drinking a beer, good times.
