Are you supposed to shake a bottle of wine before opening?
I ask b/c I just recently starting buying wine, and I noticed some have a decent amount of sediment at the bottom.

Other way around, if it's a wine with a lot of sediment, you set it upright before opening, preferably for up to a day or two.

I'm not really bothered by sediment, but that is what you're "supposed to" do.
