Where were you when a webcomic revolutionized the very fundamentals of meatballs?
>>
>>7360097
Ok but meat balls are easier to make.
>>
>>7360097
masturbating to giada
>>
>>7360102
Meatball press.

Even faster.
>>
>>7360097
Just use a takoyaki skillet
>>
Why not make tiny hamburgers instead? The shape's efficacy has already been proven with sausage slices.
>>
>>7360104
you know that filthy whore loves it, too. she says she wears low cut tops on purpose, i bet she gets ass-blasted by some jumbo sized turkey basters off set, if you know what i mean.
>>
>>7360226
Exactly my thoughts. Only downside is that each meat patty would have less volume than a ball.
>>
>>7360226
>>7360264

Damn it Americafags, not everything can be solved with hamburgers.

don't say things that aren't true
>>
>>7360097
why is there an integral in the bottom left

you don't need calculus for meatballs
>>
>>7360594
You can use it to calculate the area under a line.

Perhaps he was modeling the area to find the side length if the original mass of the spherical meatballs was kept constant and instead formed into a pyramid. A fair amount of the equations you use in geometry are derived from calculus.

That or it's a webcomic that wanted to make a joke about overthinking things.
>>
>>7360594
Sorry mate, but maths goes beyond what they taught you in school. There are plenty of applications in which integration would be useful here. Calculating the centre of mass, for example.

A pyramid has 5 sides though.

Not a pyramid, a four-sided pyramidal solid.

I know you already got corrected, but a "pyramid" can have any number of sides.

The only definition for a pyramid is that every side but the base is a triangle.

However, such shapes are less idea for frying meatballs in oil (if you bake them instead, this debate isn't for you).
>>
>>7360097
I'll try making spaghetti and meatpyramids next time I go shopping.
>>
Yes, adding a bunch of thin, pointy ends to your meatballs will prevent uneven cooking.

Why has nobody thought of this before?
>>
>>7362411
How could you possibly make them pointy? It'd still be really rounded, just with flat sides.
>>
>>7360097
I must be getting old and stupid. I'm actually considering trying this.
>>
>>7362415

>how could you possibly make them pointy

Look at the pictures posted above.

There's a reason you truss your birds before roasting and pin their wings behind their backs. Thinner bits cook faster, and burn before the thicker parts cook through.
>>
>>7362422
You're being too literal.
>>
>>7360097
to physicists, a cow is just a sphere
>>
>>7362442
Nigga we use point soaps
>>
>>7362436
If you want the points of your meatball to cook faster than the insides, fine. Don't tell others to do it like it's some great revelation.
Meatballs have been fine forever
>>
why do you make meat balls and tomato sauce instead of bolognese sauce? Same ingredients without the inconvenience of spherical meat
>>
>>7362471
There is a uniform distribution of meat and sauce in bolognese. Meatballs avoid this by grouping the meat and give the consumer more control over how much to eat at one time.

Why not post it on Reddit for upvotes while you're at it.

I wish were were more topics that brought /co/ to /ck/. I really like when my 2 favorite boards cross over.

It's a triangular pyramid, elegan/tg/entleman.
>>
>>7363904
>>7360684

It's called a tetrahedron. It's a platonic solid.
