It seems so strange, thinking how Americans would actually have an interest in shoveling in food as fast as possible.
Just imagine that for a moment: They sit with their missus in a nice restaurant, a well prepared American meal in front of them. They literally cut a piece, pull the fork out which they just used to hold down the piece of food whilst cutting, put the knife to the right hand side of the plate, switch fork, stick it back into the food and eat it. Then the entire process backwards.
