Onions, garlic, salted butter. Saute. Sometimes I'll cook an extra onion just to eat the sauteed mix and still have enough for the dish. Bit of cheese, fresh slice of bread.

Final meal tier, right there.

Every continent, every country in the world cooks with onions. It's hard to get better than them. I can't even think of anything better off the top of my head
