Sup dudes. A couple months ago I told you guys when I tried the suriacha pizza from papa johns, and that I loved it.
But you guys told me it wasn't real suriacha. I meant to buy some real bottle stuff but I forgot.
Anyway this evening I went to the gas station and was picking up a 6 pack of smirinoff, after I paid for it with my cash on hand I realized I needed something to eat when I got hungry, and then it hit me.
I went over to the microwave stuff and picked up 3 of the frozen burritos. I looked over to the register and asked the iraqi guy:
"hey, abooba dooba, you got any of that red hot sauce stuff?" Because I was kinda drunk already I forgot what it was called. He points to another isle and I find it.
When I walk up to the checkout, as I'm whipping out my EBT card to buy the stuff I ask if he ever tried it and he just shook his head.
Got home, cooked one of them and put a big ol puddle of the stuff on the plate. Man this stuff is rank! smells horrid. Scoop up a big glop of the stuff on my burrito and holy shit!
It doesn't taste nearly as sweet as the papa johns pizza stuff. I'm a bit let down honestly. And holy shit it's hot! The PJ stuff was like, taco bell hot level stuff at best. And that's as hot as I go, got fire once and it burned my tounge.
This stuff in the bottle is like 1000x hotter. Jesus christ.
As I finished the burrito I started just barely dabbing it into the sauce, and while better, still hot and not nearly as tasty as the pizza version I had. Such a bummer, with all the rage with all the companies coming out with suriacha this, suriacha that. Can see why you guys talk down on it.
Gotta figure out what to use this stuff on. $6 for this small bottle, jesus. Maybe I'll try that mayo mix thing I've been hearing about.
