Hawaiian Punch

How can hawaiian punch have half the sugar of most sodas and still taste so sweet and delicious? It's got some sodium electrolytes and vitamin C. A truly underrated drink in my opinion.
You guys tried it? What do you think?
I stopped drinking Hawaiian Punch after I tasted the sugar particles in my mouth.
As a Hawaiian, I prefer POG.

Not a fan of any brightly colored drinks that are just sugar water with a little fruit juice and artificial flavors. That goes for soda as well. I just never think: "A glass of sugar water would be good right now."

Nah hawaiian punch has 21 grams of sugar per 12 oz, most sodas are around 40 grams per 12 oz
