Go to your local chippie shop and order fish and chips with a tub of your favourite covering be it mushy peas, gravy baked beans or curry sauce. Or if your like me have the fish separate wrapped and have mushy peas etc covered over your chips.

heres a recipe for the fish part;
Beer Battered Fish
4 cod fillets
3/4 cup white flour
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 egg
1/2 cup beer
white flour, for dredging
canola oil, for frying
Heat oil in a dutch oven to 365F.
Rinse and dry fish.
In a bowl, combine flour, garlic, paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper, egg and beer. Mix well until a batter is formed. Add more flour or beer if necessary.
Dredge fish through flour, then batter. Fry in dutch oven, turning once until golden brown. Place on cooling rack over brown paper bag. Serve with malt vinegar.
