Do you eat at a table /ck/? I just realised the only time I use a table is at restaurants. At home I eat on the couch, at my laptop, or in my bed.
I eat at a table unlike some of you heathens.
I feel you OP, it has been a while since I've eaten at a table since I moved out. There was a year with a group of roommates where we'd eat at a table every night, but the downside was that was only when I cooked. Since then I eat almost exclusively on the couch.

I tried eating at my table a few times and it made me depressed because there was no one there to talk to.
it's nice to eat sitting at a table & have nothing else going on while you eat a meal. i try to do that for breakfast at least a few days a week, just kind of to make sure i'm a human being

Other times I eat at the kitchen bench itself (I have bar stools set up on the far side as in pic related), at my desk, or even just standing in the kitchen for a quick snack

I've done that a few times. I also sometimes have a whiskey bottle on hand to swig from while showering.
But I don't do it often. It's fun because it feels decadent, but mostly just makes the shower take longer than it should.

Cold beer, hot shower, drinking sloppily while the cool brew pours over your front... Oh god it's awesome!
Also, I hear it's good for your hair, so I pour a lil over my head and rub it in my beard too.
I force my friends/roommates to eat together, since I'm the only one who actually bothers cooking edible food.
