Waiters are whiny assholes

Why are most waiters so arrogant about their job?
All you have to be able to do is handle stressful situations well. Everything else is a no brainer. You are the customer's bitch, why are you expecting to be tipped? There are a lot of shitty jobs with miserable pay, yet only waiters get tipped. Do you tip bus drivers, construction workers or trash men? I didn't think so. It's really not that hard to be a waiter, just stressful.
I've been a waiter for 3 years as my main income, I know what I'm talking about.
The only reason a waiter's pay is so shitty is because people are tipping them. Restaurants know this and as a result they pay way below minimum wage because the tips even it out. If nobody would give tips, a lot of waiters would quit their jobs and restaurants would be forced to pay better wages. Thus all the problems would be solved.
Cooks are poor bitches though, they get shit pay no matter what. I don't understand why anyone would want to be a cook.
