Let's talk about our favorite homemade snacks. Snacks that don't come ready-made. Good old pure deliciousness.
My current favorite : spicy roasted snap peas.

Pumpkin seeds around Halloween time. Roasted and salted. I could eat them until my tongue swelled up and blocked my air passage.
Avocado, cut into large chunks, with lemon, lime, salt, and optionally soy sauce

Since the other guy is being a shithead, I'll answer: you don't, you eat them whole.
Unless you mean getting them out of the pumpkin, in which case you strain the pulp out until you're left with only seed.
