I drink soda strictly for the caffeine buzz (Pepsi Max being my poison of choice), though non-caffeinated soda like 7-Up can often be rather refreshing

Alcohol is good for socializing since if both increases your social and emotional state and decreases your inhibitions. Benzos just make you apathetic in general. It also doesn't have the potential to fracture your psyche with moderate use.
