Does this stuff taste as good as it looks?
It looks like little burritos wrapped in cabbage instead of corn/flour.
Better, man. They're like tiny little juicy meatloafs. Don't know about goblaki, but the hungarian variant is fucking amazing.
I like them best when they're made out of chocolate, hollow and shaped like rabbits.

I like them best when they're cut with bread crumbs

Stuffed cabbage is in general is fantastic. I go by this recipe:

Killer stuff OP, I make them serb style, sarma.
Beef and pork mince
diced speck
onion
garlic
msg
smoked paprika
fired off
rice towards the end
rolled into bundles
into pot with bay leaves and smoked pork bones, topped up with water
cooked on low for 2-3hours
left to cool then eaten the next day, nice gooey sauce from the gelatin in the bones
peaks in flavkour after about 3 or 4 days
Freeze reasonably well
easy as fuck to make
Krautwickler are incredible.
I've had islim kebabi, which I assume are the Turkish variety; they're wrapped in eggplant instead of cabbage, though.
The answer is yes.
