Am I a dirty savage for not liking the rind on cheeses?
Absolutely depends on the cheese and/or make. It's fine to skip the rind in some cases.
I typically eat it anyway because I find the bitter taste compliments the cheese.

I can only eat the rind of cheapest brie to buy here, actually I have to force myself to eat the cheese from the other brans of brie -.- specially french blue brie that is sold as a luxury thing here I find horrible.
