Today I made roast goose, roast potatoes and parsnips and braised red cabbage.

Looks good. How is goose? I've never had it

The meat has a smokey, rich flavour. You can save the grease, thus saving you a trip to the store for a cna of expensive goose grease
I ordered a really tasty pizza.

Id say it was very similar to duck, but slightly meatier.
This was my first time cooking goose. I only cooked the crown which meant I could keep it pink, since normally its the legs that take a long time when roasting.
It was about 1kg, coloured the skin in a pan and then roasted for around 50 minutes, left to rest for 20 minutes.

Do Americans really eat this?

Westernized pseudo-Jap curry.
Shit is tasty yo.

Also
>onion, chopped vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, celery, red pepper) chopped chicken thighs and curry roux.
I usually don't use celery, and use potatoes, but I ran out.

Japs only got curry from the Brits so if anything, youre taking it back to its roots.

looks pretty decent, I treat japanese or british style curry as more of a spicy stew, you appreciate it more that way, it's a comfort food, not something more exciting like indian curry
some stuff from the break room at work
Japanese noodle bowl with pork belly
Wish I'd taken pictures of it, but deep-fried corn tortillas (still floppy) with with cheddar cheese, liquid smoke, and sriracha sandwiched between them. Kind of a quesadilla. I cut it into dorito-sized triangles and ate it with some chunky salsa I made a week or so ago. Not a bad poverty meal.
I made a lasagna.

>Dem crispy bits
Id eat the fuck outta that. Looks good.
Anyone here make tortilla pizza?
>>7251223
Why bother? Cant you just buy pre made pizza for the same price that is better?
>>7251223
I make pancake pizza which is kind of similar I guess.
>>7251239
Fresh ingredients maybe?

As an american who has spent a reasonable amount of time in three different cities, I've never seen a pizza like that in my life.

A can of sardines and grilled cheese sandwich
Nice goose is awesome
I made for dinner/special at work
Sous vide muscovy duck breast
Roasted sun chokesets and broccolini
Red wine pickled grape tomatoes
Shiraz/port reduction
A big fucking bowl of mashed potatoes. Yeah i'm fucking poor.
Went out for a dinner with a buddy tonight.
Made a curry/stew with a bunch of ingredients both planned and leftovers.
Seared some beef and slow cooked it for about 10 hours with a can of coconut milk, some chicken broth, potato, sweet potato, carrot, corn, lentils, couscous, curry powder, Thai chilis and some lime. Came out great imo
It was so fucking good.
I didn't make dinner, we went out.
>half a dozen oysters (it was 2 different varieties, that we selected out of 5 choices, but now I can't remember what they were. Nice and meaty and briny and super fresh, though).
>steamed clams in a lemon herb butter wine broth (these were fantastic)
>cup of clam chowder (delicious)
>Lightly seared raw ahi tuna, asian slaw, seaweed salad and Nishiki rice with wasabi vinaigrette
The clams, oysters, and tuna were awesome. The wasabi vinaigrette tasted too bland, and the rice, while having a good flavor, didn't really make the dish any better. The tuna was really tasty, though, so meaty it was like eating steak.
Overall it was a good meal, but the atmosphere was atrocious. They do that long table seating, and the people we were sat next to were so fucking loud and obnoxious, it ruined the ambiance.
