I'm going on a road trip after Christmas and aim to take in as much of the East Coast as I can.
Any stand out restaurants or bars I should visit?
Also what sort of regional cuisine is good?

There are lots of great quality restaurants on the east coast of Australia. I recommend the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant in Melbourne, the Waterview Restaurant in Sydney, and the Alchemy Restaurant & Bar in Brisbane.

From Virginia, down to Florida, you should try the BBQ in every state, because it's fucking delicious. Pulled pork, ribs, chicken, it's all good.
