My mom always gives me candy bars when I come to check in on her and dad. For Christmas, she gave me a ton of chocolate and desu, I can't eat a lot of the stuff or else I'm going to end up throwing up. I had an idea to preserve all the chocolate and candy bars for either eating at my own pace, or to use in baking for friends or as desserts at the local food bank. Is there any way to preserve them?

Freezing chocolate is fine, you just have to wrap it airtight and give it some babying to make sure the temperature changes gradually. A few layers of insulation, and go room - fridge - freezer instead of straight in and out of the freezer.
