Truffles are all well and good, but they aint bourbon pecan balls, or chocolate rum balls or anything like that!!!

I actually made some truffles the other day. One variation I went for was rum with a dessicated coconut coating.

Add some raspberry liqueur or raspberry juice. Maybe if you want to go for that old style Mexican zing, add some Fireball or any cinnamon whisky. If you're especially daring, add some chili or chili flakes to the concoction. You could also add some orange zest to the truffle mix.
