First attempt at hamburger steak. I can't say I'm disappointed. Got a whole week of new meals lined up. That's the excitement of my week.

Poor excuse for a chop steak, potatoes look barely cut and not crispy, salad looks literally like lettuce and tomato chunks. That being said, if you're happy, then I"m jealous of your low standards. Wish I could eat the fuck out of that healthy-ish half-plate without being turned off.

Not really, keep it up and you'll get better. I'd recommend slicing the potatoes in half, and a little thinner, tossing with oil and salt, then roasting high for some crisp. I'd get a little more char on the burgers, but they might be great already (can't tell with the gravy on top), and then I'd dice the salad more fine with maybe some other accouterments and a hand-whisked vinaigrette.
