i need help.
i'm low on money and i'm really craving for brownies.
but i don't have an oven.
what's your best microwave brownie recipes?
( currently eating ramen to satisfy hunger )

Step 1: reconsider life choices; there is no such thing as a good microwave brownie
>4 tbs butter
>2 tbs cocoa powder
>1 egg
>1/2 cup of sugar
>4 tbs all purpose flour
>little pinch of salt
I have no idea if this will work or not but this is your typical brownie recipe scaled down to fit in a big coffee mug. I've done deep dish cookie recipes that take about 60 seconds in the microwave, this should work the same way.

Not op but just made this following the recepie posted in this thread.
Turned out ok. Dont use self raising flour, its all i had but wanted to try this, as a result of the sf flour it turned out more like a chocolate cake than brownies, its got that brownie gooeyness around the edge of the mug though.

I think i cooked it for too long as well, i did it in 20 seccond bursts, checking its jigglyness after each zap in the microwave, i ended up cooking it for about 1 min 20 all up and in hindsight i think it could have done without the last 20 secconds.
The bottom of the mug has a much more brownie like consistency, i think the cakeyness was just because i overcooked the thing.
Also, melt your butter first, i was just chucking shit into a mug and butter straight from the fridge does not mix easy.

Just take a recipe for a 9x13 pan and halve it. An 8x8 square pan holds 6-8 cups; a 9x13 holds about 14.
