Releasing a cookbook isn't "making a living," he would have to release cookbooks frequently to actually live off of it. I do sincerely hope he dies from drowning in diarrhea though.

There was a guy in my college who drew cartoons that looked a lot like those. He got the campus paper to publish them and he got a huge ego about it.
