I made spaghetti for the first time in years and it's okay I guess (pic related) but it feels like it's missing something. Maybe more cheese. Mozzarella? Probably more seasoning too. How does /ck/ make spaghetti?

I like spaghetti with bolognese, this is a great recipe:
http://fxcuisine.com/Default.asp?language=2&Display=150&resolution=high

I usually eat it with grana padano, parmigiano reggiano or pecorino.
>>
Spaghetti?
Nothing but durum wheat semolina and water, friend.

Olive oil, onions, garlic, beef. Cook until brown, add salt, pepper, paprika powder, italian seasoning, add a jar of barilla tomato sauce , tomato juice and a bit of water depending on the consistency. Then let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

and why don't you braise the balls in the sauce?
and why the portion size for birds only?
>>

Underneath the meatballs
>>7047445
What's a braise
That's a normal portion
>>
>>7047627
>That's a normal portion
Unless you are doing something to mess with the scale, its an extremely small portion

What a fantastic product. I give these out to my kindergarteners every year on the first day of school. Knorr® inspired me to make a difference!

It might just appear small because if the plate I used. It's nearly a foot in diameter
>>
>>7047737
but your spaghettis are still actual sized
>>
>>7047742
Yeah they're like the full length of them in the box, though: I didn't creak them into shorter pieces

>>7047667
Reddiquette doesn't apply here fuccboi

and even on your big plate, they appear in very little numbers

My favorite is to use a sauce made with olive oil, anchovies, red pepper flakes, a lot of garlic, then mix it all into the spaghetti with a tiny bit of lemon, a little bit of the water the pasta was boiled in, and a lot of diced parsley. You really have to beat the shit out of it when you mix it for it to come out right and fully disintegrate the anchovies.

I don't remember the exact measurements for the ingredients but I'm sure you can find all kinds of recipes like this, it's fairly popular.
>>
>butter in the noodles
>meatless vodka sauce
>parmesan but it has to be the cheap powdered kind
>onion salt and regular salt for taste
extremely unhealthy but i literally cant eat it any other way
>>
Generally only flour and eggs.
>>
I've been using this:
http://wellnessmama.com/8907/pasta-sauce/

It's really good, but a little bland. Anyone know what else I can put in it?

Spoonful of honey in your sauce and three bay leaves while it cooks.

All about the bay leaves, son.

I need to thank my wife she can cook and doesn't serve me dog turd sketti and meatballs like you're eating.

>didn't add parmesan (mandatory) and pepper flakes (optional).

But anon there is Parmesan it's just the powdery stuff.

>not enough marinara
>parmesan should be incorporated into
meatball as well as topping
>are those noodles even buttered
>did you salt the water beforehand
>WHERE THE FUCK IS MY TEXAS TOAST/GARLIC BREAD???

4/10 tops. You can do better.
>>
>>7048301
>are those noodles even buttered

Man I hope you're not being serious
>>
>>7048315

I'm serious that I'd rather eat Fazolis than that pig slop you made.
>>
Minced meat, salt, tomato paste, water, flour, oregano, finely chopped onion
>>
>>7048301

>not enough marinara
I like the taste of plain noodles and didn't wanna drench it in sauce.
>parmesan should be incorporated into meatball as well as topping
It's not parmesan, but I do have cheese in the meatballs; white cheddar
>are those noodles even buttered
Why would I butter spaghetti noodles? Am I supposed to?
>did you salt the water beforehand
Yes
>WHERE THE FUCK IS MY TEXAS TOAST/GARLIC BREAD???
In the freezer; I wasn't that hungry.
>>
>>7047371
>Italian seasoning
>Jar of Barilla tomato sauce

Is this a flyover thing?
>>
My mother's recipe that will anger italians.

>kilo of ground beef fried brown
>add mixed veggie mix, around a kilo
>bake till soft
>add can of tomato paste and puree
>add swig of ketjap manis
>add herbs
>add beef broth cube
Wala, if you really want to impress people make small balls from the ground beef.
>>
>>7048329

>I like the taste of plain noodles and didn't wanna drench it in sauce.

Then forgo the sauce and just do buttered pasta with salt and pepper alongside your meatballs.
>>
I just do some half-assed meat, onion, and tomato sauce with cheap pork and tomato paste and slather my pasta in it. I use whatever dried herbs and spices I fancy at the moment.

The only fancy thing I do is make sure to add some nice olive oil to the past after it's done cooking.

Cheap, easy, and tasty enough.
>>
>>7048330
Use of the term flyover immediately negates your opinion
You pretentious hipster fuck
