Is this coffee really worth $15 a can, or is it some sort of meme?

It's fairly common in the UK. For a 250g tin we would pay £6.50/$10.
I used to drink it a lot because there was a little greasy spoon cafe close to my university in central London, surrounded by Costa and Starbucks and they served this for £1 for a single espresso.
It isnt amazing coffee, but its not terrible. For £10/$15, I could pick up something considerably better though.

I typically go to Whittard of Chelsea, which is fairly expensive, but they have a nice selection as well as loose leaf teas. Prices are typically £3-£5 for 100-125g.
If you want to spend a lot of coffee, buy some jamaican blue mountain.

if you need coffee for a dinner and you cant get any real coffee or beans then yes... if you have time or a store better than a standard supermarket near you then no.
