I've only lived in Oregon, visited Washington, and drove through Idaho and Utah.
Utah is the only place I've ever seen "fry sauce", despite the fact that it's just ketchup and mayo and Utah pretends it's something special.

Germanfag here. You can get fry sauce in Burger Kings and non-chain restaurants all over this country. It has even replaced mayonnaise as the alternative to ketchup at burger king, which is terrible.
